The homeowner loved where they lived -- being in a prime location in Highland Park, Illinois. However, as they were planning to start a family, the quaint ranch home just wasn’t going to cut it as a place to raise children. On a narrow lot they couldn’t built outward so the solution was simple -- build upward. We transformed the home by adding a full second-story, nearly doubling the living space.
