You Almost Missed It . . .

In your many travels it nearly failed to catch your keen eye. A ubiquitous penny resting on the ground, one of countless copper pieces dismissed and discarded daily. On this day, however, something urges you to take a closer look. An extra second to pick up what is actually a 1943 Copper Penny, one of only a handful in existence. usually worth nothing, you’ve discovered is valued at more than ten million times its face value. At first glance you would never have known.

Consider me that all too rare screenwriter among the endless waves of aspiring writers. Much like this penny, I require only a person to take that extra second to reach down and pick me up.
